What precautions should be taken when using disposable medical degreased gauze pads?

Medical absorbent gauze pads are frequently used in the healthcare industry. As a single-use consumable, they are primarily employed to cover and protect wounds during the healing process. Since these pads come into direct contact with our wounds, stringent hygiene requirements are imposed on them.
Earlier, we should purchase medical degreased gauze pads manufactured by reputable producers to ensure hygiene and compliance with standards; the use of products lacking any of the three “no’s” (no manufacturer, no quality certification, no production license) is strictly prohibited.
Second, before use, check that the packaging is intact and verify the markings on the outer packaging, the date of manufacture, and the expiration date. Reuse is strictly prohibited; this product is for single use only.
Moreover, during storage, it’s important to keep the item in a dry, well-ventilated environment free of corrosive gases. After use, dispose of it properly in a trash bin—avoiding random disposal that could lead to bacterial growth and compromise the cleanliness of the surrounding air.
