How medical gauze pads are manufactured

Nowadays, not only hospitals but also many households are purchasing disposable medical gauze pads. After all, in our daily lives, it’s inevitable to bump into things or sustain minor injuries to our skin—so we need to use hygienic and clean medical gauze pads for wound dressing.
Medical gauze pads are primarily made from bamboo charcoal fiber material. The process begins with fresh, young moso bamboo that is smoked and pre-dried, then dried, pre-carbonized, carbonized, calcined, sprayed, and pulverized to produce nano-sized bamboo charcoal powder. This bamboo charcoal powder is subsequently blended and stirred into polyester or viscose fibers. Using a spinning device, long filaments containing the bamboo charcoal powder are drawn out, yielding bamboo charcoal fibers. These bamboo charcoal fibers are then woven into gauze fabric. By folding the resulting gauze fabric in half, the medical gauze pad is obtained.
Only medical gauze pads that have undergone meticulous processing can provide users with peace of mind. Another crucial factor is the sterilization and disinfection of these medical gauze pads, which effectively ensures their positive contribution to wound healing during use.
